Try these free fixes first
Unplug the washer before opening any panel.
- Use less detergent and, if there is lots of foam, leave the machine for a few hours to let it settle before restarting.
- Clean the detergent drawer and the area above it, removing any limescale or residue.
- Check for laundry trapped in the door seal and look for damage to the seal.
- Unplug the washer, then check the drain pump filter cap is undamaged and screwed in tightly by hand.
- Check both ends of the water supply hose for drips.
